To say that we were psychotic about our hockey team would be an understatement. Me and Chris ran this team with an iron clad fist.

True story, and Joey still has some strong feelings about it. Joey drove out for over an hour to Suffolk from Brooklyn to play an hour long hockey game, to only shlep back to Brooklyn in another hour plus ride home. So, one hour hockey game and 2-3 hours in travel.

Well, this particular game, me and Chris were not happy that Joey showed up 5 minutes into the first period, and we decided to make an example of him, and benched him, as we had warned the team for weeks prior, for the remainder of the first period. I never thought twice about it, until Joey erupted about 5 years later about how fucked up it was.

All I know is one thing, Joey was on the rink for practice prior to the game beginning for the remainder of the season, I say, mission accomplished. This is a period from the good old days. Love ya Joe!
